Anti-hero

What is an anti-hero? Whatever it is, it must be the exact opposite of what a hero is. Let's say that a hero is someone who does whatever it takes to do what he/she feels is the right thing to do. This means that a hero could be someone who is involved with politics and maintains his or her position on an issue strictly because they feel their view is right, not because it is in their own interest politically to say one thing or another. A hero could aslo be someone who risks their life to save or enrich others' lives when they know there is no other way to accomplish that goal.

Having said that, an anti-hero would be someone who takes a self-centered route when faced with these situations mentioned above. An anti-hero would gladly support anyone politically who is willing to make it worth their while with a bribe, whether it is with money, services, etc. Also, an anti-hero would look out for themselves before caring about the lives of others, if they care at all.
